In the back of our gray hymnal is a reading by the great UU theologian, James Luther Adams.  It is entitled “I Call That Church Free” and a small part of it reads:  “The goal is the prophethood and priesthood of all believers, the one for the liberty of prophesying, the other for the ministry of healing.”  And so, the Right Relations Team and board members have been tasked with delivering this worship service which will offer reflections from a recent training on covenant and how we can better foster our relationships.  These things are essential to our UU faith and a liberating love.  Your UUCL leaders will offer you inspiration through their prophesying (in other words, what they envision for our future together) and healing through the ways in which they’ve learned how to build relationships through covenant.
