What’s Happening this Sunday, August 12

10:00 a.m. – Adult Discussion Group

Please join us every Sunday for discussion of various topics.

11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration

Our Religious Exploration program for children and youth is being updated and improved!  During the worship service, our children and youth will be invited to the Meditative Maker’s Corner in the sanctuary to work on an activity that is relevant to the day’s theme and helps to teach them about Unitarian Universalism- our Principles and our Sources- and encourages them to learn how to worship.  Please email Heather Norby at [email protected] for more information.

11:00 a.m. – Worship Service

Sunday, August 12, New Beginnings: The Power of Our Stories to Shape Our Vision- This Sunday we will continue our journey together into new beginnings with stories from our congregants about renewal, opportunity, joy, and vision. As we shape our future, we must connect the sacred now with illuminating stories from the past. How has coming to UUCL shaped a new beginning and a vision for you? You will be hearing stories from Arland Meade, Keyno Hicks, Natalie Alexich, and Richard Littleton, and then have the opportunity for sharing your story with others in our beloved community. It is within this sharing that we honor the interconnectedness of life and render universal our individual experiences.
