Leo Perez of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) and Patricia Cipollitti of the affiliated Alliance for Fair Food will report on the status of efforts to combat sexual harassment and promote wage equity in Florida’s strawberry and tomato fields. UUCL was among the first UU congregations to support the CIW with volunteer labor as well and food and shelter during its campaigns in central Florida.
