The Practice of Inclusion: Are there dangers in wanting to be included too much? Inspired by a classic punk rock song, Against the Grain by Bad Religion, this service explores the loss of creativity when we hide our authentic selves for the purpose of inclusion. From a broad view of society to how we balance this on a personal and church community level, Heather will get us rooted in Love, Courage, and our Sacred Selves so we can re-enter the world ready to resist the oppressive currents of our society. (We may end with a mini punk rock show postlude…but however we end, it’s sure to be fun!).

Additionally, this Sunday’s Special UUCL Project Collection will go towards the Ministerial Discretionary Fund. This fund assists Heather in helping out UUCL members in need of financial assistance during hard times.
