Delight in the Grammar of Animacy. The UUCL book club recently finished reading and discussing Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.  In it, she explains how indigenous cultures engage in kinship with the natural world.   What she calls the “grammar of animacy” is the way her indigenous language acknowledges the agency and aliveness of all beings.  We’ll explore the delight inherent in this way of thinking and how it can help us find new delight in our 7th Principle.
