The Practice of Deep Listening: When we practice listening deeply to one another, what is it that makes it “deep” listening? Is it also listening to love, life, god? How about to our interconnectedness? Or to future possibilities? This Sunday, Heather will continue the story of the Lakeland Universalists of the 1920s and we will wonder together: what if the women at the forefront of this local movement were listened to by those who had the means to help them carry this faith into the future? And what does that mean about how we should listen now?
