10:00 a.m. – Adult Discussion Group

Since mid Feb., Women’s professional basketball player, Britney Griner, was detained at  Moscow’s airport check-in for processing liquid marijuana in her suitcase.  This brings up questions beyond this case.  Should more attention be paid by media, US officials, WNBA etc..  Is she at fault? {this is a major offense in Russia.}  Is the pay so low in WNBA that players play abroad for additional income? {Griner is the top paid at 230k.} 

10:00 a.m. – Sunday Seekers
Sunday Seekers evolved from the Adult-RE discussion-group format to more of a “support group” format.  It’s a place to express joys and sorrows, discuss issues of the week, and receive companionship and loving support from other group members.

The children’s program is now meeting every Sunday morning! We are exploring the seven principles and what it means to be UU.

It is a religion.  It is a faith.  UUCL is a church.  But what is it and how is it different?  How does it call us to renew our faith over and over again?  All are invited to join us for this exploration!  If you were there last Sunday and you received a principle and engaged in the spiritual task of living it out this week, you are invited to speak on your experience.
