November 2026 Services

November’s Woven Faith theme is: Covenant

Once Covenant lives inside of me–inside of you–then, and only then can we make it live in the holy space between us. –Connie Goodbread

November 1 Samhain/Ancestor’s Ritual: Please bring a picture of an ancestor or someone special to you that has passed. We will create an altar and a meaningful worship service together.
November 8 Lay Led Service with Helen: The Five Jagged Rocks of Unitarian Universalism – presentation of a sermon written by Rev Karishma Gottfried which asks, what is the bedrock of our faith?
November 15 Community Sunday/Multigenerational Service
November 22 Unitarian Theologian James Luther Adams taught us that “Covenant is for the individual as well as the collective.” As we celebrate 71 years since our founding UUCL members signed the book, we will explore how the practice of covenant has kept us faithful to building and sustaining our community.
November 29 Guest Speaker Andy Quinn from the Lakeland Insight Meditation Group

Heather is looking for Volunteers!
The UUA’s Woven Faith resources has some fun activities that we can engage in, but Heather needs volunteers to help prepare and set these things up! Please reach out if you can help: heather@uuclakeland.org. Times are flexible!
