April 2026 Services

The Worship Theme for the Month of April is:
Embracing Possibility

Let mystery have its place in you; do not be always turning up your whole soil with the plowshare of self-examination, but leave a little fallow corner in your heart ready for any seed the winds may bring, and reserve a nook of shadow for the passing bird; keep a place in your heart for the unexpected guests, an altar for an unknown God.  ~Henri-Frederic Ariel

April 5 – this Easter Sunday, we will explore the possibilities that await when we, too, emerge from the tomb. Wear your Easter Bonnet! Momma Ashley Rose will be joining us for the service and for Nikki and Jason’s good-bye party!
April 12– What did James Luther Adams mean by “the prophethood of all believers” and how does such a thing expand our possibilities? Our 2nd Sunday potluck will follow the service. Celebration of Life Service for Marsha Bergen after potluck.
April 19 – Earth Day is April 22. In our Community Sunday, multi-general groups will explore possibilities in earth-centered activities centered on music, craftivism, dialogue, or gardening.
April 26 – our UUCL Board will present possibilities for living our vision statement.  The Annual Meeting will follow the service.
