11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration(exploración religiosa para niños)

Children of all ages are invited to join us! We start in the sanctuary with the adults, then before the sermon we head over to the children’s classroom.  We have discussion to build community and explore the ideas brought up in the worship service. We also have stories, games, arts and crafts and other activities to have fun and learn together.

The Practice of Deep Listening: Samhain Ancestor’s Ritual What were your ancestors’ dreamings? Do you practice listening deeply to them? How do you carry forward their hopes and dreams? This Sunday, bring a picture and/or a story of an ancestor to whom you listen, whose words still echo in your memories and inspire you to be who you are (note: this can be a blood relative or anyone who has passed that inspires you). We will share with one another to discern how we embody these dreams, what values we carry forward, and then we will honor them with a Samhain ritual. 

Please join us for Social time after the service. Snack or drink contributions welcomed.

This Sunday, October 27, we will be taking up a collection for a UUCL Special Project: Social Justice. The Social Justice Committee does not have a budget this year, so half of this week’s plate collection will go to that fund! Sheri and Heather are working together to strengthen our Social Justice program. Your contributions are much appreciated!
