11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration(exploración religiosa para niños)

Children of all ages are invited to join us! We start in the sanctuary with the adults, then before the sermon we head over to the children’s classroom.  We have discussion to build community and explore the ideas brought up in the worship service. We also have stories, games, arts and crafts and other activities to have fun and learn together.

The Practice of Invitation: Tommie Award  -Since 1972, this congregation has given the Tommie Award to an individual or organization who best exemplifies “high ideals, humanitarian principles, and commitment to community.” This year, we carry on the tradition by giving it to Momma Ashley Rose/Jason DeShazo for their extraordinary work with the LGBTQ+ community and success in opening Polk County’s first LGBTQ+ center! Please join us in celebrating this with Jason as we invite him to speak from our pulpit. We will hear all about the wonderful things Rose Dynasty has to offer our community!

After service-This Sunday, after our worship service, you are invited to join Heather in the sanctuary for an Autumn Equinox ritual/celebration. Please bring an item for our shared altar that helps you invite Autumn into our sacred space!
