11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration(exploración religiosa para niños)

Children of all ages are invited to join us! We start in the sanctuary with the adults, then before the sermon we head over to the children’s classroom.  We have discussion to build community and explore the ideas brought up in the worship service. We also have stories, games, arts and crafts and other activities to have fun and learn together.

The Practice of Deep Listening: When we practice listening deeply to one another, what is it that makes it “deep” listening? Is it also listening to love, life, god? How about to our interconnectedness? Or to future possibilities? This Sunday, Heather will continue the story of the Lakeland Universalists of the 1920s and we will wonder together: what if the women at the forefront of this local movement were listened to by those who had the means to help them carry this faith into the future? And what does that mean about how we should listen now?

Starting Point Classes Session 2. Our Starting Point classes are a great way to learn more about Unitarian Universalism, UUCL, and one another! We follow a small group type format but also include interactive and reflective activities and learning time.
