10:00 a.m. – Adult Discussion Group

What is fair?

Can we look to nature, animals, and history for answers?

Are 2 people ever born equal?

What does the individual owe the society they live in?

The Adult Discussion Group welcomes first timers in person or on zoom.  Check it out.

10:00 a.m. – Sunday Seekers
Sunday Seekers evolved from the Adult-RE discussion-group format to more of a “support group” format.  It’s a place to express joys and sorrows, discuss issues of the week, and receive companionship and loving support from other group members.

11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration
The children’s program is now meeting every Sunday morning! We are exploring the seven principles and what it means to be UU.

11:00 a.m. – Worship Service

Belonging to the Earth
This Sunday, September 4th, we are honored to have Tom Palmer & Marian Ryan who will speak to us about the Polk Forever initiative to conserve sacrosanct lands in Polk County.  Ms. Ryan is currently President of the Green Horizon Land Trust and the Friends of the Polk County Parks Foundation.  Mr. Palmer is an award-winning journalist who covered the environment and local government in Polk County for more than four decades.  Please join us as we explore our 7th Principle and our Sacred Connection to the Earth.

The Social Justice Committee has agreed to designate this Sunday’s plate collection to Polk Forever.

Social time after the service. If you haven’t already contributed, please consider bringing  food or drink to share.
