Special Guest Retired Polk State College Professor Howard Kerner will present stories of Sufi Muslim rescuers during World War II.
12:30 p.m.: Town Hall- This will be a very important Town Hall for all to attend as we continue to work on writing our mission statement. We have already discovered the values that undergird the beliefs and the work we do at UUCL: connection, love, transformation. Let us continue our work by asking ourselves these questions: If we live fully into our values, what is our transcendent purpose? What overarching difference are we here to make and for whom? Whose lives will we change and in what way? Start thinking about these and bring your deep and sincere thoughts to our Town Hall!
