Reverence: Ancestor Veneration– This Sunday, preceding the upcoming holidays that center around death, we will explore ancestor veneration and its role in human evolution and culture.  What are the different ways in which humans perceive death and the dead?  How can we, as Unitarian Universalists, approach the subject with a healthy spirituality?

October Potluck Theme for This Sunday the 13th: Fall Flavors! What foods tempt your tastebuds this time of year? How about traditional flavors like pumpkin, potato, apple, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and chili powder? Or maybe football is on your mind and you have a favorite food for watching the game? Perhaps your German ancestry is calling to you- Oktoberfest! Or, maybe you have a favorite “spooky” creation for Halloween! Share your favorite fall dish with us at our next potluck, this Sunday.
