Ponderings of the Spiritual Life Director

We had a fantastic time at this year’s General Assembly! We went to workshops and worship services and made some connections with UUs from around the country. This year’s social witness in the park spoke up for “Smart Justice” and was demanding that Spokane not build more prisons, but instead build programs, services, and schools. The culture at GA works for inclusivity and centering the voices that are normally on the margins. It’s inspiring work and we look forward to bringing it to UUCL! We also took some time to enjoy Spokane, WA and the beautiful, cool weather.
