MR. DON BROWN SPEAKING THIS SUNDAY
Our speaker this Sunday is Mr. Don Brown. Mr. Brown is the 1st Vice President of the Florida State Conference National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. As such, he is the 2nd leading representative for the NAACP in the state of Florida.
Mr. Brown served in the US Navy for over 22 years and retired as Lieutenant Commander in the US Naval Reserve.
He served as Recruiter and Project Manager for Bethune-Cookman University for many years. He was Executive Director of the Northwest Lakeland Community Development Corporation from 1991-1994, and he has worked as a civil rights activist for over 40 years.
We look forward to his visit with us this Sunday.
