Ever wanted to try Yoga? Join us for the first session in UUCL’s family yoga series. Wear comfortable, flexible clothes and, if you have a mat, bring it! No mat? No worries, we will have some (mats or towels) available for you to use! This kids-focused yoga session will taught by certified yoga instructor, Jenni Warren, and should be an excellent introduction to yoga for all ages!
11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration
During the worship service, our children and youth will be invited to the Meditative Maker’s Corner in the sanctuary to work on an activity that is relevant to the day’s theme and helps to teach them about Unitarian Universalism- our Principles and our Sources- and encourages them to learn how to worship Please email Jennifer Littleton at [email protected] for more information.
11:00 a.m. – Worship Service
This Sunday’s worship service will address homelessness in Polk County. We will hear firsthand accounts from members of the congregation about their experiences as they’ve engaged in work in the local community. How can UUCL serve those in the community who need us? There is sacred work to be done.
