Unity in Diversity: Exploration by Poetry! September 9 brings the beginning of the Jewish New Year and the High Holy Days It is a time of reflection and atonement and the hope that one will be “sealed in the Book of Life”, where everyone destined for heaven will have a page. As Unitarian Universalists, we believe in salvation for all. In other words, we are all worthy of a page in the book of life! If we created a Book of Life at UUCL, what would it be like? Diverse and interesting, I’m willing to bet! Therefore, you are invited to select or write a poem that speaks to the truth about who you are. Bring it, read it, add it to our book! We will have special guest singer, Joshua Sussman join us with some beautiful Hebrew melodies.
