10:00 a.m. – Adult Discussion Group
Please join us every Sunday for discussion of various topics.
10 a.m.- Religious Exploration for the Whole Village!
The moon moves us in cycles of raising hopes and letting go – celebrate the full moon and practice clearing space for the new & better with the third session of UUCL’s meditations series. In this session, we will participate in a journaling ritual, followed by a meditation for letting go.
This event is suitable for all ages, but may be best for older kids and up, as littles will need plenty of assistance with this activity
11:00 a.m. – Children’s Religious Exploration
During the worship service, our children and youth will be invited to the Meditative Maker’s Corner in the sanctuary to work on an activity that is relevant to the day’s theme and helps to teach them about Unitarian Universalism- our Principles and our Sources- and encourages them to learn how to worship Please email Jennifer Littleton at [email protected] for more information.
11:00 a.m. – Worship Service
Our guest speaker this Sunday is retired Polk State College English professor Howard Kerner. The most recent of the many courses he designed during his teaching years was on Holocaust literature. He speaks to many local groups about those Christians and Muslims who helped Jewish people during World War II.
