10am DISCUSSION TOPIC ON SEPT. 23

The 10am Adult Discussion Group discussed the 7th UU principle this Sunday. The conversation diverged, as usual, in several directions. The major thrust became the concept of living simply, living on less credit, and the possible overreach of our form of capitalism. It was said that we in the US have a high standard of living and a low quality of life.

A side-shoot of the discussion from us was a request to the Buildings and Grounds Cmte. to consider “zero-scaping” or “Florida-scaping” in our grounds, with focus on the well-being of flying insects and other small life forms.
