January 25, 2018: “Art and Soul Vespers”. We will express our soulful journey into this month’s theme, “to seek knowledge in freedom” as we co-create this worship experience together. You will have the chance to join together with others in song and community, receive pearls of wisdom from diverse sources of inspiration, and to share your experiences as they relate to seeking knowledge. At our last Vespers event, participants shared readings from diverse sources that are meaningful to them as they seek to know themselves, others, and the Universe. The plan is to turn those readings into artwork! Some art supplies (paper, pastels, markers) will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring anything special they’d like to use or share. Multmedia is encouraged! If you weren’t able to join us last time, you are still welcome to bring a reading to share and to create. Doors open at 6:30 for quiet contemplation and candle lighting. The vespers service begins at 7:00. ALL are welcome, regardless of age, race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, spiritual path, and artistic ability.
